Ongoing	We are always seeking families that are willing to home host one or more members of a delegation to Los Altos. Please contact us if you are interested.
Sister City Visits/Delegations/Activities
Onging	Our Bendigo sister city has invited us to send contributions to their quarterly newsletter. We've sent a them a photo of our Fingerpost (outside of the Library) as well as some text. This photo also appears on our home page.
May 6, 2010	Bendigo:We will soon be welcoming two visitors, Sheryl and Brian Retallick, from our sister city of Bendigo, Australia. Please join us. We will be meeting at the home of Dorothy and Robin Dickson at 216 Garland Way, Los Altos. Please bring an Hors' D'oeuvre to share.
Board Meetings
Ongoing	Our board meetings are generally held on the third Thursday of each month At City Hall, 7:30PM. All Sister City members are welcome.
Ongoing	New Sister City? The LASCI Board is attempting to determine whether or not to add a new Sister City. Two cities have been proposed...Guibbo, Italy and Madaba, Jordan (a suburb of Amman). Both cities have interesting web sites. The Board welcomes any and all ideas.
Ongoing	Board Position available: If you are interested in serving as Events Chair (the retiring maestro, Jack Heidmiller has promised assistance), please contact Barbara Loebner:Bloebner@sbcglobal.net. There is a well-established committee to help.
